family ties

Owners Robert and Diane Yoon, a brother-sister team, grew up in neighboring Fullerton. It wasn’t long before Diane decided to pursue her passion in the pastry arts. After graduating from the pastry program at the French Culinary Institute in New York City, Diane brought back her expertise, and with the support of her family and friends, made her passion a reality with the opening of Merely Sweets in September 2011.

Merely Sweets is a bakery dedicated to using the freshest and finest quality ingredients. All of our baked goods are made daily from scratch in small batches in our on-site kitchen. We do not use mixes or artificial preservatives.
