How can I make a donation request for my non-profit organization?

Our donation request policy is that you please mail or email your donation request letter to us. All donation requests must be submitted in writing a minimum of six weeks prior to the charitable event (include the non-profit ID number). Due to the abundance of letters we receive, we are unable to grant all requests.

How do I care for/serve my cakes, cupcakes, and treats?

The following is a list of product care information:

  • French Macarons: French macarons should refrigerated in an airtight container, but eaten at room temperature. Bring them out for about 15 minutes so they can come to room temperature before serving. Macarons should be eaten within 3-4 days.
  • Cake Cutting Guide and Cake Care Instructions
  • Cupcakes: Our cupcakes are baked fresh daily. They should be kept out at room temperature. Our frosting is a very light whipped buttercream; it can start to melt if left in warm temperatures. We recommend eating our cupcakes within a day or two.
  • All of our cakes, cupcakes, and treat are best enjoyed the same day. Buttercream cakes should be refrigerated and then removed to come to room temperature at least 45 minutes before serving. Cupcakes and cookies may be kept at room temperature.

I have a design in mind, do you do custom cakes or cupcakes?

At this time, we are trying our best to meet your custom cake wishes.  Please inquire about custom cakes via email.  Custom cakes start at $7/slice with a $200 minimum.  

If I have a nut allergy, should I eat at Merely Sweets? 

Merely Sweets is NOT a nut-free kitchen. Several of our flavors use peanuts or other nut products. We recommend that customers with severe nut allergies err on the side of caution and not eat our cupcakes.

Do you have any gluten-free items?

Our French Macarons are gluten-free with the exception of our gingerbread, s'mores and peanut butter and jelly flavors.

I have food allergies. Do you make anything wheat/dairy/nut free? 

Merely Sweets use the finest dairy, flour, and nut products. We recommend not consuming any of our products if you have any food allergies. We offer several vegan friendly options. We recommend calling in advance to see which vegan desserts we have available for the day.

Do you have anything sugar free? 

Unfortunately, no.

Do you offer any special packaging?

We do not offer any specialized or custom packaging outside of our store packaging.

Does Merely Sweets provide nutritional information? 

At Merely Sweets, everything is made fresh from scratch on premises, all day using the finest ingredients. We do not use any trans-fats or preservatives. Currently we do not have any nutritional information available for review.

Does Merely Sweets offer internships?

How do I place a cake order? 

Our daily cakes may be ordered at least 48 hours in advance. You can place an order over the phone or in person. We also offer pre-designed cakes. You are welcome to come by and browse through our current options and make an order at least a week-two weeks in advance depending on design and size of cake. We require a 50% deposit upon ordering.

Does Merely Sweets deliver or ship? 

Unfortunately Merely Sweets does not offer delivery or shipping at the moment but please keep checking our website for any future developments.

I need to cancel my order/I am not satisfied with my order. What are your store policies?

We desire for each of our customers to be 100% satisfied with the products they purchase.  If you are unhappy with your order and/or purchase, immediately notify us (within 24 hours of pick-up) of your concern and return your dessert to us. The store clerks and managers will work together to resolve your case in an individual and timely manner. Under no circumstances will a cash refund be given for a product.
